Parent Advisory Council

The Islander Middle School Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is an advisory body to the IMS administrative team. The PAC studies, makes recommendations, and takes action in specific, identified areas.  For the 2017-18 school year, one of the identified areas that the PAC will focus on is social and emotional health of our students.

The PAC consists of 2 to 3 parents per grade level, the PTSA President, a School Board representative, and the Associate Principal. PAC members serve a 2 year term.

Application Process:

  • Complete Parent Advisory Council Application
  • Deadline:  September 15, 2017
  • Applications will be reviewed and selection decisions will be announced by September 20th.

2017-18 Meeting Schedule:

The PAC typically meets from 3:15 – 4:30 pm in a location to be determined.  2017-18 meeting dates are:

  • October 16
  • November 13
  • February 5
  • April 16
